Support the public-interest research the climate future may require.
Emissions reductions, adaptation, and carbon removal must remain top priorities. CCI's work is focused on building the scientific knowledge base and governance understanding needed if contingency options are ever considered.
Supporting CCI does not mean supporting deployment. Your support advances the rigorous, transparent, governance-first research that any future informed decision-making would require.
Credible contingency requires sustained investment.
Research Milestone Achieved
CCI has completed Preliminary Feasibility Reviews on its initial research programs and is seeking support to expand scientific, engineering, and governance capacity.
Two Years of Progress
CCI has been funded through philanthropy of the Jackson family for 2 years. Now that our first research programs have passed Preliminary Feasibility Review milestones we are looking to grow our scientific/engineering staff and will seek outside grants.
A Neglected Research Gap
Systems engineering applied to atmospheric contingency technologies is a significantly under-researched area, one where CCI's interdisciplinary approach has the greatest potential for impact and scientific advancement.
Partner with CCI.
CCI seeks partnerships with research institutions, foundations, and mission-aligned organizations interested in advancing responsible atmospheric contingency science. Partnership opportunities include co-funded research programs, collaborative publication, data sharing, and governance support work.
